Hill Country Holiday

Happy Holidays!

The Polly Texas Pioneer Association is a non-profit 501.c.3 organization created in 2003 dedicated to acquiring, restoring, preserving, maintaining and operating historic properties in and near the original pioneer settlement of Polly, Texas in Bandera County, Texas. Also, providing on-site and outreach educational programs about the early pioneers and settlers in this area of the State of Texas.

As you may know, we have recently acquired Polly’s Schoolhouse. Many of you have already helped us with the stabilization. Yet, you may not know that we are also responsible for the historic Polly’s Chapel and Polly’s Cemetery.

As such, on December 9, 2017, we will have our “Hill Country Holiday” event at Polly's Chapel (Click here for directions). This event is a way to celebrate our many accomplishments this year. It's also to thank the supporters and volunteers who have helped make this possible. The “Hill Country Holiday” will feature seasonal music, food, and refreshments.

If you haven’t been to the Chapel, come out to see the wonderful restoration and the improvements to the grounds. The event begins at 10 am on Saturday and ends at noon. Also, we will be telling everyone about our newest acquisition, Polly’s Schoolhouse.

For those of you interested, we'll conduct a tour of the schoolhouse after the event. If you'd like to support this event, please consider one of the levels of sponsorships or place an ad or memoriam in the event program.

To make a donation, purchase an ad in the event program or to purchase an event sponsorship, call us at 210.892.0135 or download and mail with this form to Polly Texas Pioneer Association, PO Box 761027, San Antonio, Texas 78249. We accept all major credit cards.
